The Global Roads Open Access Data Set (gROADS), version 1, will be available in mid-2011.  An alpha version of the data set has been distributed to interested parties since November 2010. If you are interested in alpha testing the data set, please contact Alex de Sherbinin at adesherbinin *at* ciesin *dot* columbia *dot* edu.

We are pleased to announce the release of the CODATA Roads Catalog of Roads Data Sets. Please click on the links below to download. The catalog contains 367 entries. This catalog was produced by the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) at Columbia University under its contract to manage the NASA Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC).
