Previous Meetings

Lamont Campus:

Friday, September 14, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Lamont Hall

Rajendra (Raj) Bose, a CIESIN visitor since July, presented “Towards CI4EI success: lessons from UK e-Science”, describing his views on the strengths and shortcomings of the UK e-Science program from his perspective as a postdoctoral researcher in digital curation at the University of Edinburgh for the past three years. An account of the plans for—and the realities of—collaboration between University researchers, the National e-Science Centre, the University Library and the Digital Curation Centre, all based in Edinburgh, will hopefully, inform the success of CI4EI activities.
